The Red Devils Poised to Secure Germany Striker Lea Schüller away from the Bavarian Giants

The Women's Super League club are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific German forward Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich.

A Marquee Acquisition for United

The forward, with half a year remaining on her deal, is known as a consistent goalscorer for both club and country. Having netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 appearances for her country. This signing is viewed as a major signing for the Women’s Super League side.

Departure from Bayern was expected since she appeared to be holding back emotions while applauding the club's fans following a victory over Bayer Leverkusen recently.

Reports in late December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was set to lose one of its top strikers. Per multiple sources, the formalities for the move have now been completed.

Consistent Goal Threat to Boost United's Forward Line

The experienced striker's signing is expected to provide a major boost to United’s forward line. Schüller has been remarkably reliable in front of goal in the Bundesliga.
