Missing key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.

Another three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure direct entry to the last 16, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.

Fringe Players Grasp the Moment

This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second game in succession.
